Adult Court order Community Service
In partnership with the McElrath Improvement Corporation and Another Chance of Ohio, the Beloved Community Corps provides two transformative adult Community Service opportunities under court-ordered supervision, where participants engage in meaningful work to give back to society. Adults assist with the restoration and further upkeep of the Mitchell-McClellan Ballfield and community gardens located in the McElrath district of Ravenna, OH. In preperation for future youth and multi-generational sports leagues.
Some adults serve as coaches, umpires, grounds, score, and stats keepers providing meaningful service through sports and community engagement. Creating a supportive environment for personal development, community growth and re-entry.
Secondly, Some adults will assist with the Beloved Community Closet. assisting assisting with management and distribution of free clothing, household items, and other essential resources to families in Ravenna, OH. Portage county and parts of Cuyahoga and Summit counties through the Beloved Community Closet program
